Having some experience as a real estate agent in the past, we know that life as an agent is always on the move. Understanding this, Bumbung has just recently launched a new app, Bumbung for Agents.
The app includes functions such as uploading listings and managing credits within the app. It is absolutely free for agents to list properties as well as to start a Bumbung account.
The sign up is very simple. All they need to do is to key in their basic profile along with a valid contact number and REN / EA / PEA identification (registered license under BOVAEA – Board of Valuers Appraisers and Estate Agents).
Since Bumbung’s launch in May 2016, it has connected many home seekers and agents via their platform Bumbung.co. It has generated over 1,000 matches for the current existing agents in the short eight months of operating.
A match is only generated when the home seeker requirements and a listing has an 80% compatibility match. This is based on the budget, location, timeliness, required property date and the rating of the agent.
“We’re happy to know that our product is serving a larger purpose to bring transparency into the property marketplace. Especially with many other platforms offering only classified ads. The agents using us have been supportive of our work because we were able to justify their marketing cost with us through the results that they have seen,” says Gadiy Lim, Bumbung’s co-founder.
We know that there are agents who will spend an average of over RM2,000 and above per month on advertisements. However, as the space is very saturated with many agents offering the same thing, these advertisements don’t necessarily reflect the actual results.
So that’s why Bumbung exist to do what it does. Plus, we made this app as a value added service for Bumbung’s go-getter agents.
